"Evolution: Holistic Ageing in an Age of Change"
19th-22nd March 2012, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Organised by Malaysian Healthy Ageing Society

Professor Suresh Rattan
Suresh Rattan, Ph.D.,D.Sc., is Professor of Biogerontology, at the Department of Molecular Biology, Aarhus University, Denmark.

He is the recipient of the Lord Cohen Medal in Gerontology (2011) from the British Society for Research on Ageing, and is the President of the Biological Section of the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics (European Region).

He has published more than 200 scientific articles, and has edited/co-edited 12 books, including those for children, general public and research scientists.

His research and areas of expertise include human cellular ageing, gerontogenes, and ageing intervention, prevention and therapies through growth factors and mild stress-induced hormesis.

He is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Biogerontology. He is the discoverer of the anti-ageing effects of kinetin and zeatin, now used in several skin care products.
